Acceptable Use Policy

Terms and conditions for acceptable product usage.

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the mandatory practices and limitations when using OmeraCode development software and cloud routing.

1. Mandatory Testing and Verification

All source code or configurations proposed by Omera must be directly reviewed, compiled, simulated, and physically validated on hardware boards by the user prior to deployment in production environments.

2. Safety-Critical System Prohibitions

Deploying unverified AI code outputs in safety-critical applications (such as life-support medical devices, aerospace flight controllers, nuclear safety loops, or industrial actuators with risk of bodily harm) is strictly prohibited without independent safety evaluations and certifications.

3. Omera is not a Certification Body

Exported Evidence Packs and audit reports are tools to assist with internal design reviews. OmeraCode is not a certification body and does not replace official compliance testing (such as CE, FCC, ISO, IEC, UL) conducted by authorized laboratories.

4. Data Ownership & Upstream Rights

You are responsible for ensuring you have legal rights to the schematics and netlists imported into Omera. Uploading files that violate third-party intellectual property rights is prohibited.
